Toyota-United’s Ivan Stevic wins Serbian National Criterium Championship

This just in, Ivan Stevic wins Serbian National Criterium Championship, which represents the team's 62nd race win for 2008. This is very exciting news for us, as our previous win record was in 2006 where we ended the season with 55 wins.  Our grand total is currently 158 wins since the team’s inception February 5, 2006.

Hilton Clarke leads all TUP riders with 13 wins to date, Dominique Rollin has scored 12 wins so far in 2008. But the boys tell me they aren’t done as of yet!  As I’m typing Chris Baldwin, Chris Wherry and Justin England are headed to the USPRO Road Race Championships in Greenville, SC where they will contest for the title of American champion.  Baldwin has changed his strategy this year where he will skip the time trial and put everything he has into the road race.

After this weekend, the boys head to the Tour of Missouri where last year the team won the first and last stages with Ivan Dominguez, pulled on the yellow jersey for a day and Ivan won the overall sprinters jersey to boot. All in all a very successful tour for us and we are hoping to do the same this year.
