Health Net once again dominated the domestic pro circuit in 2006 by winning the NRC Overall Team Championship for the third straight year, as well as placing three of its riders in the top four individual standings. With the departure of long-time veterans Gord Fraser, Mike Sayers and Scott Moninger, the
team will see a youthful reformation in 2007. The Team has signed two big names from the Pro Tour
ranks: Canadian Ryder Hesjedal from Phonak and Australian Rory Sutherland, previously of Rabobank.
Other additions to the team include 2005 British National Road Race Champion, Russell Downing from
the DFL-Cyclingnews squad, 2006 Univest Grand Prix Road Race Champion, Shawn Milne from Navigators Insurance, Frank Pipp from TARGETRAINING, and two members of the U.S. Under-23 National Team
John Murphy, and Matt Crane.
